There are many movies out there but only some of them manage to get into our hearts and change us and inspire us. In this list, I’m going to share my top ten personal favorite Hollywood movies that made me think, change, confuse and also inspired.

So let’s get into it right away,

1. Shawshank redemption (1994)

The story is of a banker named Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison for the murders of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to a hard prison. only Andy knows he didn’t commit the crimes. While they’re in prison, he forms a friendship with Red (Morgan Freeman), experiences brutality of prison life, adapts, helps the warden, etc., all in 19 years

2. The Dark knight (2008)

Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors in this era who directed many iconic movies and the dark knight is one of them. The summary of this film is the same as every superhero movie where the hero saves the city from the villain but the storyline and direction of the dark knight were different, dark and exceptional. With the help of allies Lt. 3. Pulp Fiction (1994)

The film is directed by Quentin Tarantino, as most of you already know his movies are exceptional. Pulp fiction, in particular, is the best movie of Tarantino where the direction and storylines were beautifully done. Pulp Fiction is 3-4 stories set around the criminals of Los Angeles. The movie gives ample time for every character’s storylines to develop and create a beautiful masterpiece of a film.

4. Inception (2009)

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a thief with the rare ability to enter people’s dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious. His skill has made him an asset in the world of corporate espionage but has also cost him everything he loves. Cobb gets a chance at redemption when he was asked to do a seemingly impossible task: Plant an idea in someone’s mind. it will be a perfect crime if he succeeds but a dangerous enemy anticipates Cobb’s every move.

5. V for Vendetta(2005)

This movie is situated in the united kingdom and in a dystopian era where the fascist government controls everything. V for vendetta is the story of a masked man who starts to kill people who were connected to a massacre happened years ago. This movie showcases the courage, hardship, unity, emotions altogether in this single masterpiece.
